GOLF & HEALTH
Following the many reported cases of health issues and accidents in Golf fields, including cases of sudden death, and the aware of the importance of preventing these situations, Gravity Spiral, Lda as developed an innovative project that benefits Golf players in terms of health and safety during Golf practice.
The Health & Golf project has two strands: a health check-up at club house, that can be done before playing Golf and an innovative rescue system that will keep the player monitored during the game and provide a fast and effective rescue in case of emergency.
Golf continues to represent the largest sports-related travel market, valued at more than 30 billion euros with over 50 million golf tourists travelling the world to play on around the 40,000 courses avaliable.
Goals:
To enhance golf courses through a project with health and safety concerns;
To benefit golf players regarding the assessment of their health in terms of health and safety during the practice of the sport;
To promote healthy habits and a greater responsibility for individual health;
Create a system of immediate assistance to the players in case of emergency, articulating with existing emergency medical services (INEM, firefighters)
